Here’s today’s data. Once again Seacourt was never full and there was very ample parking elsewhere. There is simply NO NEED for more capacity at Seacourt.

NO NEED
There was an interesting article in yesterday’s Oxford Mail.
It was widely predicted that the number of visitors to Oxford would rise from the previous 9 million per annum to 15 million when Westgate opened. That’s a 66% increase.
The actual increase stated in this article is 13% compared to the same week last year.
That’s only 1/5th of what was predicted.
So the case for more parking at Seacourt has the rug pulled sharply from under it. There simply is NO NEED for more.
